Work directly with cats:

• Fostering: Socialize kittens and cats for adoption
• Colony Feeding: Provide fresh food and water to community cats in our managed, outdoor colonies
• Help at Our Adoption Centers: Give love and care to kitties-in-residence at our PetSmart adoption centers in either San Carlos or San Mateo
• Socialize Adult Cats: Help abandoned, neglected and traumatized adult cats with gentle care at our Socialization Center
  
• Rescuing: Help Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) community cats
• Adoption Fair Coordinators: Help rescued kitties find homes at our weekend adoption fairs by introducing them to adopters
• Transporters: Help our rescued cats get to and from vet appointments or adoption fairs
• Cat Recovery Helper: Provide a few days' shelter to a cat recovering from surgery

Work behind the scenes on programs, fundraising/events, PR/Marketing, online promotion:

• Volunteer Coordinators: Help new volunteers find a fulfilling role with our organization
  
• Events and Fundraising: Help raise money for homeless cats by organizing or staffing an event, or networking with donors
  
• Marketing, PR, and Promotions: Use your skills to help HCN  manage its public profile
